Synopsis - Alice, a graduating college student is interested in Gene, a young man who has also shown interest in Alice. Gene, however, has been distracted by a “get what she wants” kind of girl named Jaclyn. Alice runs away after witnessing a kiss between Gene and Jaclyn. Gene, moments after the kiss, opens a gift from Alice and realizes he made a mistake and wants to chase after her. Gene finds Alice on an old wooden dock. Alice has had enough and though Gene is fighting for her there is a sense of hopelessness as they converse. At the last moment, the dock shatters and Alice falls in the water, Gene falls in trying to help. They get out, cold and wet, head to the car, and as if the water was a reset button or a cleansing chance to start over, Alice gives Gene one more opportunity and the two kiss. The end.
